Although Amelia Island is known for its gorgeous scenery and myriad opportunities for outdoor adventure, its offerings for a rainy day shouldnโt be overlooked. Below, youโll find our favorite indoor activities located right here on the island!
At Duck Pinz, as the name suggests, youโll find duckpin bowling, which is like bowling, but in miniature. Using a smaller, lighter ball with no finger holes, youโll have 3 tries each turn to knock โem down!ย
The lanes are first come, first served, though reservations can be made for parties with more than seven guests. Thereโs no age limit to bowl, though guests under 21 arenโt allowed in the building after 8pm.ย
Duck Pinz offers a wide range of craft cocktails, as well as beer and wine. A small snack bar menu is available, and guests are welcome to order takeout from Timotiโs and Cafe Karibo next door. The patio and back balcony are pet-friendly, so Fido can come along, but wonโt be allowed in the building.ย
Looking for a fun challenge? Then check out Amelia Island Escape Rooms! The rooms are family-friendly unless otherwise noted, and kids eight years and up are welcome. Hints are available if you get stuck, and we promise, no one will judge you if you use them! Youโll get a locker to store your personal items, and room themes include โLibrary of Secretsโ and โGreybeardโs Treasure.โ Reservations are needed, and can be made online or over the phone.
