Diane Blanton, a history buff, says that cooler weather can โstir the spirits up.โ What better time than October to take a ghost tour with her as your guide? The tour, from Amelia Island Ghost Tours, takes a little over two hours and covers half a mile of historic downtown. Grab your camera to play paparazzi to paranormal activity. Each Friday, a ghost tour from Amelia Island Museum of History departs from the cemetery behind St. Peterโs Episcopal Church at 6pm. The tour lasts one hour and covers about 14 blocks of the historic district. Reviews of this tour are glowing, many guests have enjoyed it. Purchase tickets here.
