Hitting the Road for the Holidays
Traditions are a big part of the holiday season. You can usually look forward to a gathering with family and friends to savor delicious food, eggnog and delectable desserts while sharing stories of days gone by. But, what if you decided to take your holiday revelry on the road this year?
While you’re leaving familiar rituals behind, there are some advantages to a bed and breakfast holiday getaway. Not only will you still be able to partake in joyous celebrations, but also enjoy some R&R. You can focus on the beautifully decorated shops from your horse-drawn carriage ride or decide to stay in your pajamas and sample sweet treats while others take care of the preparations. If the brisk air and arriving snow has you running for the hills, turn around and make your way to the warmth of Florida. At the Amelia Island Williams House located on Amelia Island, you’ll get to admire the inn’s holiday décor before taking a horse-drawn carriage ride through historic streets lit up in twinkling lights.

We feel priveledged to be part of this unique group and enjoy acquainting guests with the loyalty program.
Here’s how it works….
Each night you stay with a select registry property earns one Golden Quill. When you have stayed twelve times you receive a gift certificate for $100 from Select Registry that can be redeemed at any SR member Inn in North America. As a special bonus they recently added the opportunity to receive one Golden Quill free when you sign up for the Golden Quill Rewards through their Facebook page after your first stay. Feel free to tell your facebook friends about this great program and see if they “poke” you for letting them know. Once you create your account start accumulating your stays at SR properties..and of course we reccommend you start here at the Williams House!
