Decorations Shine at Williams House during Cookie Tour

Monday, November 19th, 2012

The Williams House always decorates for the holidays in style and has been known locally as the “Christmas House” since before Byron and Deborah were the owners.  Each year we repeat some of our favorite decorations while Deborah always creates a few surprises and changes to enhance the guest experience.  This year we have a major candy theme going and if Deborah can just keep the dishes filled (as Byron grazes by) guests will enjoy it.  It all fit together well for last weekend’s cookie/house tour of all the B&B’s, and if our comments were accurate from visitors we were voted most beautifully decorated.  It’s a pleasure to feel all the hard work and decorating is appreciated and we enjoy hearing comments when visitors enter the main hall for our winter wonderland!  I’ve attached some pictures below for those who weren’t able to attend are won’t be joining us before the decorations come down in Jaanuary.

Fernandina Newcomers Coffee Get Together

Saturday, November 10th, 2012

We were honored to host forty lovely members of the Fernandina Newcomers Club this week. What a great way to kick-off the holiday season!

Coffee and assorted teas with sweets and savories were on the menu for a morning club meeting and also a sneak peek at some of the Christmas decorations as we ready ourselves for the Cookie Tour!

Pictured are two of the many offerings of the meeting – our trademark southern warm tea sandwiches… farm fresh ham and cheese tucked inside a delicate rosemary biscuit!

Pumpkin tortes with a sweet cream cheese filling topped with cranberries-heavenly!

Thank you Deborah and Byron for the best wedding we could have imagined
