Fifteen years of enjoying and celebrating the annual Shrimp festival at the Williams House is quite an achievement. The Goff’s and Williams’ have been comuing to Fernandina and catching the action at the Williams House since the second year of it’s history as a B&B. The first year they were too late to get a room, but signed up with Chris and Dick, the original owners, for the next year and they’ve been back every year since. They love hanging out on the upper deck porch with the mild breezes and panoramic view as the crowds for shrimpfest travel below. Taking trips different times of the day balances the fun of exploring the exhibitors with relaxation and quiet. Of course they have both favorite rooms and restaurants and they hit those consistently. They shop well and usually find a treasure or two and enjoy seeing vendors that have been coming year after year. They are allready booked in for next year, so we only have eight rooms left and they will be setting yet another record for longest repeat guests at the Williams House.
