Sunset near the Marina
Many evenings, we end the day on the island with a georgous sunset over the Amelia River. It is particularly attractive with boats, piers and far off islands in the picture. I enjoy walking the few blocks to the harbor and checking out nature’s latest light show as the day comes to an end. I wonder how often the Williams family took in the sunsets some 152 years ago when the streets were unpaved, electricity wasn’t yet available and horses and carriages were how you traveled.
