October Wedding Feels Like Summertime

Byron with Bride and Groom

Byron with Bride and Groom

Jessica and Brandon married at the Williams House this past weekend while the area was setting records for high temperatures in the 90′s.  So, yes, it was a hot wedding, but beautiful, simple and enjoyable.  This was one of our small “just for two weddings”, but after meeting and having breakfast with the bride and groom, some of the other guests joined in to experience their wedding and and enjoy a slice of wedding cake.   Byron performed the ceremony on the front porch and the reception was in the back courtyard.  A champagne toast, cake cutting and lots of photos followed.  They also brought a video camera so we set it up and taped the ceremony and reception for family and friends to enjoy.

Smaller weddings like this one are always more relaxed and intimate than the bigger variety and allow bride and groom to feel the event is their personal experience with the focus on this important step in their lives.  Like Jessica and Brandon, many couples plan to have a grathering later near their two family locations to celebrate their wedding without the stress of planning all  of the wedding process and more time to spend with family and friends.
