The Village's girls on the front porch
Last week we had a lovely and lively group of five ladies arrive at the Williams House for a girl’s retreat. They are all friends and neighbors at the Village’s, a large development south west of Jacksonville. They have girl’s outings regularly and this year decided to try Amelia Island and the Williams House. It was a fun time for both guests and Inn Keepers as they are high energy, fun loving and their enthusiasm is great to experience. They wanted to show us that not everyone at the village’s is old or tired, and we are now fully convinced! They enjoyed the wonderful local restaurants, shopping, and games in the evening. The first night it was dominoes on steroids and the second night they pulled in some other guests for a game where you roll small pigs and get points depending on the position they land. A glass or two of wine added to the enjoyment as well as lots of story telling and catching up. They promised to return soon and bring more friends if we enjoyed their visit…and we said bring them on! Thanks ladies for a fun filled visit!!
