Byron performs the ceremony

- Hope and Jack ready for the ceremony
Hope and Jack came from Maryland last week for a week long visit at the Williams House and to get married. Byron performed the ceremony in the back courtyard underneath the 600 year old live oak tree and in front of the Koi pond. Hope utilized some very nice vows she located on the internet and it was a beautiful, short and enjoyable ceremony. Pam Bell, a local photographer captured their special time on camera, and it was a low key fun affair with a delicious wedding cake. Hope and Jack had dinner later at the Beech Street grill and said they felt like royalty (and enjoyed great food).

Hope and Jack cut the cake
Since Hope didn’t march down the front walk as many of our brides do, Cinnamon took it easy in the shade out back waiting patiently to see if any loose food might be in the offering. Alas, we only had cake and that isn’t one of his favorites, so he simply laid in the chair and watched the activity.
The weather was pleasant with the humidity at lower than normal levels for Florida in September and no rain in sight. It’s a relaxing way to get married!
