Shannon & Michael cutting their cake

Micahel and Shannon were married at the Williams House this weekend with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80′s.  Byron officiated and about 20 guests enjoyed a light breeze, some shade on the front lawn, delicious appetizers, wedding cake and a champagne toast.  Being local residents, Michael and Shannon already new a lot about the Williams House and we all had a wonderful time marking this significant day in their lives.  I might add that they delighted cinnamon by choosing shrimp as an appetizer, and yes he was able to beg for one or two.  They chose a beautiful cake in a stylish mint green color and as usual it tasted marvelous.  We wish Michael and Shannon many wonderful years and all the best in their lives.

Anne (bride’s mother ) and Bob stayed with us for the wedding and an extra couple of days.  They were able to take a few side trips (Jekyll Island) and enjoy some of our favorite local restaurants.
